West End Community Meeting
Wednesday, November 16 Patrick Henry Rec. Ctr. and Virtual via Zoom, 7 p.m. Foulger-Pratt is hosting a hybrid (in-person and virtual) community meeting to present plans for 'West End' Blocks E, G, I, and K within the former Landmark Mall site. The proposed buildings on the four blocks would include multifamily residential, ground floor commercial, and medical offices. Education Series for Condominium and Community Associations
The City of Alexandria and Alexandria-based law firm Mercer Trigiani are sponsoring four educational sessions related to condominium and community associations during FY2023. The goals for these classes include educating homebuyers about the structure and governance of condominium communities; strengthening the knowledge of community board members in understanding, managing and budgeting; helping communities understand state law related to virtual meetings and reserve studies, and more! All workshops are offered at no cost to participants, but registration is required.

Condominiums have traditionally been the most affordable homeownership housing option for first-time homebuyers in the City of Alexandria. Recognizing the importance of common interest communities in preserving the region’s economic and social diversity, the City hopes to broaden awareness of community association management in hopes of strengthening and preserving these valuable resources for the future.
